Just recently I was looking in the mirror and much to my horror, I noticed that I had wrinkles.  What the hell, I'm only 24 right?  Right?  No, well I FEEL 24 doesn't that count for anything.  I went to my favorite place because I just knew that someone would have the answer that I seek.  I mean really, I've been using a certain fairly expensive brand of face cleaners and moisturizers since my late twenties, why would I have wrinkles.  Their ads say that my face should stay young and the appearance of age should just magically disappear. <sigh>  It never does work that way does it.
Well, with that being said, my friends over at Pinterest swear they have the answer. As you know by now I love Pinterest but I don't love everything about it.  Just like on the world wide web you find as much bullsh*t there as anywhere.  However I did find my fountain of youth,  an Oatmeal facemask that will and I quote "eliminate wrinkles".  I thought what the hell, this is the salvation that I have been looking for. Who needs all those expensive hee haws and do hickeys when all I need to do is read Pinterest because all the answers have been pinned here by experts.  Ok, that was a bit sarcastic.  There is quite a bit of great stuff on Pinterest otherwise I wouldn't spend great chunks of my day pinning stuff.  Lucky for you, I'm here to help you wade through the bullsh*t.  I have decided to use this miracle cure for 20 days and watch all my wrinkles just up and disappear.  I'm sure they will, really, I'm sure.

So here is the miracle remedy:

2 TBSP of oatmeal-the first time I just used the oats and cooked them, big mistake.  You need to grind them, I used my coffee grinder, and make it fine.
1/2 cup whole milk
Cook until you get a good thick paste.  I cooked it in the microwave 30 seconds at a time and stir between
Let cool for 10-15 minutes
Add 2 TBSP Olive Oil
Mix well
Let cool another 10 minutes and then apply it to your face and neck.  Leave on 20-30 minutes.

Heres a hint-Do not wash off in your bathroom sink as the amount of oatmeal could clog it up.  I started by wiping it off with a wetwipe (disposable), which I then threw in the trash.  I washed my face with my regular cleanser and moisturizer. Oh and don't throw it into your bathroom trash either, the dog will find it and decide that he needs to eat it, wetwipe and all.

This is what I made up for the week. Let's hope it doesn't spoil!

This is day two with the corrected recipe. I ground up the oats so that it created more of a paste. Pretty.
I have started down the road of oatmeal hell for you and already I can tell that I'm looking so much younger (incase you didn't get that, it was sarcasm)!

I've included below a short video on getting started.  After the 20 days are up, I will update this blog and a video.  I'm sure in 20 days I will have reverted to my teenage self.

Look out world, here I come.......again!

Thanks and remember, enjoy life.

It's the one you have,
Tammie
